Oilseeds
The SARDI oilseeds breeding team has released the canola varieties Tarcoola in conjunction with NSW DPI and ATR-Barra in conjunction with Vic DPI and Nuseed. Working with Canola Breeders International the canola varieties Kimberley, Hyola 50, Hyola 75 and Hyola 76 have been commercialized. A breeding program to develop mustard as a feedstock for biodiesel production has produced several lines close to commercialization.
