| DAS00070 | Varietal Herbicide Tolerance in the Southern Region incorporating National Coordination (30 June 2009) This project continues the research established in the early 90's in South Australia and aims to identify and publicise, crop varietal sensitivities to herbicides under low to medium rainfall alkaline soil conditions, prior to commercial adoption of new varieties and also aims to consolidate data generated from allied projects in other regions of Australian by establishment of a national database and to better extend results to clients through the use of NVT and GRDC media services. The project also aims to identify any weakness or 'holes' in current research and facilitate greater collaboration through regular meetings between existing researchers. |

DAV00057 - Pulse agronomic research (June 2007)
This project will deliver targeted agronomic research data for pulses that will be synthesised into variety specific management packages for the south-eastern Australian cropping region by the Pulse Australia crop support team in collaboration with researchers on this project and industry. Pulse production, reliability and profitability of production will be increased in current key production regions (e.g. Wimmera and southern Mallee, Victoria; mid North, Yorke Peninsula and lower Eyre Peninsula, South Australia; central West, New South Wales) through the development and delivery of variety specific management packages for new chickpea, faba bean, lentil and field pea varieties to growers.
