Seafood Product Quality & Value Adding

The Food Innovation and Value Chain services SARDI Aquatic Sciences by carrying out research on issues associated with husbandry, harvest and post-harvest handling, and value-adding opportunities for a very broad range of aquatic species.

The seafood post harvest team: provides support & assistance to seafood companies to help them realise new opportunities in seafood processing, packaging, new product development, refrigeration, logistics and supply chain innovations.
