A statewide Poultry in Schools competition has provided students with an insight into the rapidly growing poultry industry.
The competition culminated with a special Poultry in Schools Careers and Presentation Day held at Roseworthy Campus of the University of South Australia attended by schools from the surrounding area.
Burra Community School took out the top prize in both the senior and junior sections.
PIRSA Manager Livestock Industry Development Simon Gierke says schools from across the State participated, from the South East to the Mid North.
