Peter Hayman awarded GRDC Seed of Light Award

SARDI’s Dr Peter Hayman's leading role in helping the Australian grains industry manage the risk of climate change was recognised at a surprise presentation at the Waite Campus recently when he was awarded the Grains Research and Development Corporation’s (GRDC) Seed of Light Award.

The award recognises the role he has played in working with researchers and the grains industry to relate findings of the Corporations Managing Climate Variability Program.

It is the second time Dr Hayman, who leads SARDI’s Climate Applications Unit, has won the award.
