Annual and End of Project Reporting
Statistical information regarding use of animals must be provided to the Committee annually. This is collected on a calendar year basis and collated for report to the Minister responsible for animal welfare.
Similarly it is essential that a Concluding Report be sent to the Committee when the project is finished.
There are forms for these submissions in the format that the PIRSA Animal Ethics Committee requires. They are available on this site.
As the Committee has restricted the size of these reports, it is essential that they do not exceed two (2) pages. However, it is also greatly appreciated if Researchers submit to the Committee a copy of their annual reports or final deliberations that are sent to their funding bodies. These detailed synopsises of projects are very interesting but there must be a format for continuity in reporting within the Committee.
Attached is the Annual Report for Ongoing Projects as well as the Final Report for Concluded Projects.
