
The University of Adelaide Roseworthy Campus is located 50 kilometres north of Adelaide and 12 kilometres north-west of Gawler.

A regular train service is available between Adelaide and Gawler and a daily bus service operates between Gawler and Roseworthy Campus.
The Campus farm, conference facilities, accommodation, information centre and library offer excellent opportunities for education and training programs.
The campus includes the Pig and Poultry Production Institute (PPPI) , part of the Livestock Systems Alliance at the campus which consolidates resources from SARDI, PIRSA, The University of Adelaide and TAFE.
One of the unique aspects of the Roseworthy Campus is its location amidst a commercially viable, fully functional farm. The farm is situated on 1535 hectares of land with an average annual rainfall of 440mm. Farm enterprises include a 360 sow piggery, 48 cow Friesian dairy stud, 2500 head sheep flock and a feedmill.
Less than one hour drive from the centre of Adelaide and situated on the fringe of the Barossa Valley, Australia's premier wine growing district, this idyllic rural location makes an excellent setting for any size conference.
Modern, tiered lecture theatres, accommodate up to 150 conference participants and smaller theatres and tutorial rooms for cater for groups of 30 to 50. All theatres are equipped with modern audiovisual aids, with the ability to link selected theatres via video.
Dining is available in both the Roseworthy College dining room and the Student Union Tavern. Each facility can seat up to 200 guests and cater for special functions. Luncheon catering is also available and can be served at the conference venue.
Accommodation for conference delegates is available on campus through Roseworthy College at highly competitive rates.
Roseworthy College is the sole provider of residential accommodation for staff and students at the University of Adelaide Roseworthy Campus. Roseworthy College offers a range of residential options including fully furnished and catered single rooms, and self contained five bedroom houses or three bedroom units. Houses and units are available either furnished or unfurnished.
College residents enjoy convenient access to other facilities on the Roseworthy Campus including library, computer centre, chapel, floodlit sports facilities, a 25 metre pool, gymnasium, laundry, licensed tavern, canteen and shop with electronic banking facilities.
The broad national and international experience of PPPI’s scientists, specialist extension officers, University academic staff and TAFE Primary Industries staff combined with high quality, well equipped facilities provide the basis for world class education and training services.
Education services include the development of training modules for use in staff and industry training programs, training of undergraduate, post-graduate and international agricultural students, on-site residential seminars, interactive workshops, consultancies, and training and analytical services for industry personnel. Resources are available to facilitate the extension of research findings to industry via appropriate written, video, electronic and media packages.
The Roseworthy Information Centre provides the latest farm information from a wide variety of sources
including PIRSA, government agencies, CSIRO, Universities, Research and Development organisations and private agronomic companies. The centre has 10,000 fact sheets available which are easily accessible via a simplified cataloguing system.
The Centre’s state of the art computers allow visitors to explore the latest electronic information products such as CD-ROMs, DVDs and software prior to purchase. Free access to the internet is provided as well as free internet training so that clients can confidently use the internet for email and information searches.
The Roseworthy Information Centre can assist with product launches and displays, distribution of information products, industry events, agribusiness tours, workshops, training and searches for information.
The Roseworthy Campus Library has a collection of 33 000 books and 700 journal titles. The main subjects covered are animal sciences, agricultural economics, natural resources, agronomy, and agricultural business. Access is also provided to a wide range of electronic databases.
The campus library is part of the University of Adelaide Library, which includes the Barr Smith, Law, Performing Arts and Waite libraries. A computer catalogue system provides access to all materials in the collections as well as giving access to the catalogues of other libraries and information sources.
The Library offers spacious, comfortable study facilities, and has professional staff available to advise on the use of library resources.
