"Sheep CRC Information Nucleus Open Days" have been held at SARDI's Turretfield Research Centre since 1998 as part of the AWI funded Merino Selection Demonstration Flocks Project. They have always been strongly attended by South Australian and interstate producers. Even though this project concluded in 2006 there is still plenty happening at Turretfield with sheep genetics and breeding research. Our intention is to continue this annual event and bring sheep industry participants together for an informative day with open exchange of ideas.
