Experience:
A diverse science background covering genetics, microbiology, pathology, phycology, plant physiology and molecular biology. Dr Mooney has worked and studied in New Zealand, South Africa and Australia and is experienced across a wide range of tropical, subtropical and temperate crops. Dr Mooney has held a number of science leadership positions across a diverse range of disciplines – from plant breeding and pre and post harvest physiology through to gene technologies and bioengineering.
