Previous roles in SARDI include Chief Scientist Livestock Systems (1996-2001) and the establishment and management of the Food Innovation and Safety Program (2001-2007)
The SARDI Food Innovation and Safety Program was awarded the Premiers Science and Technology Award for Excellence in Research for Public Good (2005) and an SA Great Award for Science and Technology (2005).
Current and recent projects:
Recent national roles include membership of Meat Livestock Australia’s, Food Safety Scientific Risk Management Panel and the Australian Pork Ltd’s Research and Innovation Committee.
