Professor Alan Tilbrook’s research is conceptually driven with a multidisciplinary and integrative approach. He is nationally and internationally recognized as a leader in research on reproduction, endocrinology, stress and behaviour of a range of animal species. He has a major interest and research focus in animal welfare. In addition to being Research Chief of Livestock and Farming Systems, he is the Deputy Director of the Animal Welfare Science Centre.
