Experience:
- Science qualifications from the University of Adelaide.
- Research skills associated with entomology, pathology and postharvest handling of citrus with expertise in this area recognised at a national level.
- Over 15 years experience in research with SARDI in disciplines such as entomology, pathology and fruit physiology.
- Responsible for conducting research and extension as part of a national citrus postharvest program and as principle investigator in chemical evaluations in citrus postharvest pathology.
Current and recent projects:
2011-Current: Senior Research Officer on the National Citrus postharvest Science program.
2009-Current: Principal investigator for project: Postharvest oil for Citrophilus mealybug control in citrus to improve market access in Japan.
2008-2011: Senior Research Officer on the National coordinated citrus postharvest program supported through SARDI.
2004-2008: Research Officer for project: Delivering postharvest decay food safety and market access for export citrus.
2007: Research Officer for: Pilot study on the postharvest removal of Fullers rose weevil eggs from citrus
2006: Principal investigator for project: Postharvest efficacy and phytotoxicity of fludioxonil on Australian citrus.
2000-2004: Research Officer for project: Citrus postharvest best practice and extension program.
