Roles and expertise:

  • Uses molecular techniques such as PCR and PFGE to differentiate the pathogenic microorganisms isolated from food products.  
  • Develops molecular methods for tracing sources of microbial contamination of foods. 
  • PhD candidate supported by the Australian Seafood CRC (Human enteric viruses in Australian bivalve molluscan shellfish).
