Experience: 2002-2006: National Research Leader for the Sustainable Grazing on Saline Lands (SGSL) initiative and sub-program leader within the CRC Salinity. Principal investigator for the South Australian research component of SGSL. 2000-present: Sheep Production Specialist, SARDI Livestock Systems, working on industry-funded projects in prime lamb production, meat science, saltland pasture production and animal (including cattle) productivity. 1996-2000: Research Scientist, CSIRO Animal Production, developing a vaccine against rumen methane producing microorganisms 1995- 1996: Meat Research Corporation Research Fellow studying the use of tagasaste (tree lucerne) in cattle grazing and finishing systems
