Roles and expertise:
Kevin joined SARDI in January 2000 to work with Greg Baker on Greenhouse Whitefly. Kevin's extensive experience as an entomological Technician was developed during his time as a Technical officer working for NSW Agriculture, where he spent 12 years working on various pests and diseases including sheep body lice, cotton aphid and a variety of mushroom pests and diseases. He has worked on insecticide and spray oil bioassays for evaluating Light brown Apple Moth and Kelly Citrus Thrips for the citrus industry. Kevin's current duties involve working on onion thrips and in the area of postharvest citrus (market access). Kevin maintains a variety of insect cultures for the entomology group.
